We believe every pet deserves to feel good and look good!

Our goal is to foster a positive relationship with grooming so that your best friend is comfortable, clean, and as stress free as possible - that's why we renovated our RV trailer (who we call Roxy)!

Based in Cypress with a 15 mile radius

Any inquiries outside of our 15 mile radius will require a $50 up charge plus $15 for every 5 miles.

We have a dog that becomes so nervous while being groomed that she requires sedation. Karen & her staff were so patient & gentle & were able to complete the grooming process sedative free!”

Our Services

Our services below are included with every bath and full groom. Each is necessary to keep your dog healthy and happy!

Ear Cleaning

Maintaining clean ears will help to prevent infections from developing. Pets with long hair and droopy ears are most prone to infection, particularly in humid areas such as south Texas.

We do this by applying R-7 Ear Care Step 2 to a cotton ball and gently wiping the ear clean of wax, dirt, and debris.

This serves only as preventative care. If your pet has excessively foul odors, discharge, or discomfort, please seek veterinary care!

Teeth Cleaning

You may or may not know that our pets require dental care just like we do! They are prone to a variety of dental diseases and without proper care and maintenance, these issues can quickly turn into an pricy vet bill.

We clean your pet's teeth by applying a pet formulated tooth cleaning gel to the inside corner of their mouth, and then gently rubbing the teeth with a silicone tooth brush (sanitized between uses).

This serves only as preventative care. If your pet has excessively foul odors or tooth discoloration, please seek veterinary care!

Anal Gland Expression

Anal glands serve our naturally predatory pets by secreting strong odors that provide other animals a wealth of information, including sex, health, and approximate age.

Anal glands typically will express themselves naturally through defecation, however such factors as diet and health will affect the gland's ability to express naturally, causing discomfort and sometimes pain to your pet.

You should NOT attempt to express these glands at home if you are not a trained professional, as doing so incorrectly can cause the glands to rupture and require surgery to correct.

Nail Trimming

Much like our nails, our pet's nails require regular maintenance to keep them from overgrowing which causes discomfort and pain as the nails grow and curl.

As you are likely aware, your pet's nails differ from ours in their anatomy as they have a nerved blood vessel in the center called the 'quick'. The quick grows with the nail and if the nails are not trimmed regularly, this will require multiple sessions to reduce to a normal length.

Sanitary Trim

A sanitary trim is the term for when the 'sanitary' areas of your pet are shaved down to keep the areas free of urine, feces, dirt, etc. These areas include:

  • Lower stomach
  • Genital - with the exception of the tip near the urethra as this bit of hair is necessary to prevent UTI's.
  • Anus
  • Paw pads

This trim is typically reserved for long haired or particularly messy pets.

Bath

Much like us, our pets do require regular baths, however frequency will depend on a number of factors such as coat type, quality, health, age, etc.

We offer a variety of bath related services and carry various pet safe shampoos to meet your dog's individual needs.

Full Groom

Our 'Trim n' Fluff' full groom services include all of the above services, plus haircut and styling. Our prices vary depending on your pet's size, breed, hair type, and hair condition.

We pride ourselves most of all on our quality grooming services and only hire the best groomers to ensure the safety and well being of your pet!

MEET THE OWNER...

Karen Seiffert

Hi! I’m Karen Seiffert; a spunky, pink-haired pet lover and the owner of Pawzitively Fabulous Pet. I have two passions in life; helping others and helping animals. At the age of 51, while attending nursing school in the middle of a pandemic I realized my passion for the four legged was stronger than my passion for the human patient so I hung up my stethoscope and went on to pursue my grooming certification and I opened the doors of Pawzitively Fabulous Pet. To be successful I believe customer service is an important skill to have, I pride myself on the fact that I put my clients’ needs first. I am very generous with giving back where I can whether it’s giving of my time or my services.

I know how difficult grooming your pet can be while on a fixed income so I made arrangements with multiple senior citizen facilities to provide discounted grooms to those residents. In addition, I have partnered with The Houston Humane Society and The Texas Miniature Schnauzer Rescue to provide free grooming services as needed as a way to give back. I also support the LGBTQ+ community and proudly operate my business with members of the community. Pawzitively Fabulous Pet does not discriminated against gender or race. Everybody is an equal and deserves respect and acceptance and to always feel safe, and as a company we strive to uphold that standard.
